Gal 5:13-17 ESV - Spirit Led Living
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
Phil 2:3-4 ESV - Rx for Relationships
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Romans 12:3 ESV A Sober Estimation of Oneself
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
Jas 1:26-27 ESV - Honor one Another
If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. 27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Isaiah 6:1-5 An Encounter Based Culture
In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”
Rom 12: 2 NKJV
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Jude 1:20 NKJV
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

Scriptures for meditation for the week - Taken from Sunday's Message
We are learning from Jesus' encounter with those in His hometown of Nazareth - Keys and insights that we can learn as we pursue building an atmosphere of expectation.
Mark 6:1-6 ESV He went away from there and came to his hometown, and his disciples followed him. And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him. And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.” And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief.
Key 1 - Steward our Hearts for God...one of the greatest gifts we have from Him!
Gen 8:21 NKJV And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
Psalm 86:11 NKJV Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.
Phil 2:12-13 NKJV Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Psalm 50:21 NKJV These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes.
Eph 5:14–21 NKJV Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.
Day 5 culminates with our Friday Night Fire service...keep reading (below for the day's prayer outline)
What God has for us is bigger than ourselves..that is why it is key and critical to come to a place of humility and surrender. Imagine, the children of Israel were getting ready to cross the Jordan into the land of promise. That land was occupied by the enemies of Israel. The Lord had to tell Joshua twice (in Joshua Chapter 1) to be strong and courageous.
This means that we have to let fear die and why the power of surrender, trusting in God's love and goodness, and obedience are keys to successful territory acquisition.
We walk by faith and not by sight! It's time to ask, in faith, for the God of breakthrough to show Himself strong on our behalf.
A few reminders:
He is going to show Himself strong (conditional upon) the fact that you have given your heart wholly to Him...
2 Chronicles 16:9a NASB For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.
You are amazing and you have what it takes...
Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
God will destroy the works of darkness for you and through you!
1 John 3:8b NKJV He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
11 Chron 14:11 So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.
It's not all on you..He will do His part as you align with Him...
Zech 4:6 ESV Then he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
Tie your breakthrough to God's agenda of expanding the Kingdom of God. This is not hard..He wired you for this...He called you for this...there is a unique assignment in Him that only you can fulfill in the earth.
Prayer Outline for Day 5
1) Acknowledge that you are not your own and you are bought with a price and belong to Him.
1 Cor 6:20 ESV 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
Eph 4:30 ESV And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
2) Consecrate your life to the Lord - That you want to be like Jesus - and be about your Heavenly Father's business.
Luke 2: 49 NKJV 49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
3) Ask - for the sake of His name and the fact that you want to do HIS will for your life - for the God of Breakthrough to usher you into a season of breakthrough. Ask for Angelic assistance and Divine Intervention.
Ecc 3:1 ESV For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
1 Chron 12:32a Of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.
4) Ask for specific breakthrough - Tie it to your assignment
For example, I need this healing in my physical body because it is hindering me from doing what you have called me to do...
What are you believing for?
5) Thanksgiving & Praise
Phil 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
1 These 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

You are over the hump and about to blaze new territory! We are going to ask God to help us initiate transformation in our soul today. The soul is comprised of our mind, will and emotions.
God designed our soul to be ultimately governed by our spirit as our Spirit connects with Holy Spirit in us. In most of us, our soul dominates our actions and decision because of sin, past hurts, disappointments, ungodly beliefs, etc. We are going to initiate a process accelerated transformation [by faith] in our time of prayer today.
Day 4 Objective:
The power of God in our lives, is not only about denying ourselves, taking up our cross to follow Him...A Kingdom lifestyle culminates in our will literally conforming to His will.. He is drawing us into the place where we desire and delight in His will more than our own - where striving against our own flesh ceases and the Holy Spirit's government of our spirit and soul becomes the norm.
As God positions us to bless us in greater measure, we want to be ready..He will bless us so we can be a blessing!
Gen 12:2 ESV And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.
Prayer Outline for Day 4
1) Yield your soul to the Lord - Mind, Will and Emotions - He wants to be Lord of every aspect of your soul.
Luke 22:42 ESV
Saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”
Romans 12:1 NKJV
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2) Present each element of your soul to the Lord. Ask Him to invade and begin to accelerate the restoration of your soul (mind, will, emotions).
Psalm 23 1-3 NKJV
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Psalm 34:18 ESV
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
3) Ask God to work in you the conforming of your will to His will according to Phil 2:13 and by the power of Holy Spirit in and through you!
Phil 2:12-13 NKJV
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Zech 4:6 ESV
Then he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
Jude 1:24 ESV
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,

Clear the Path for Breakthrough
Have you every had your your wheels out of alignment in your car? When you get up 'to speed' the car can pull to the left or right or the ride become louder than necessary or the can can even shake. The tires wear out faster when out of alignment and it is not safe to drive like this for the long haul.
This can be true when our lives our out of synch / alignment with His will. As the Lord brings us into a season of breaking through we must be ready...You may have heard the statement, "the Lord could get the children of Israel out of Egypt but He couldn't get the Egypt out of them." This lack of alignment in their belief system caused a generation to die in the wilderness.
As we are preparing our minds - conceiving what God's breakthrough looks like, we are going on a journey...What has transpired thus far...
1) Day 1 - We have asked God to forgive us of sins known and unknown...continue welcoming the conviction of Holy Spirit as the fast presses onwards.
2) Day 1 - We have (and continue to) position ourselves in an attitude of surrender.
3) Day 2- Allowing the Holy Spirit to cause us to dream and vision-cast for what breakthrough looks like - Not our dreams, but our dreams in alignment with His will for our lives.
What are we doing now?...We are going to call things in our lives into divine alignment. His Will - His Kingdom - On Earth as it is in Heaven!
Day 3 Prayer Outline -
Step 1 - Present every aspect of your life to the Lord - Acknowledge Him as the Lord over every area.
Example..Jesus I declare you Lord over how I spend my time...I declare you Lord over my spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health...
Step 2a - Ask for Angelic Assistance
Hebrews 1:14 ESV Are they [angels] not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?
Step 2b - Pray for Divine intervention and Divine order - according to His plan and His blueprint.
During this step, praying in tongues is key and critical - there are things we don't know how to pray as we ought to pray...The Holy Spirit praying through us is powerful and effective. (Romans 8:26-27, Ephesians 6:18)
Pray from your seat of dominion.
Eph 2:6 ESV And raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Speak to the Mountains and Command them to be cast into the sea.
Just at the fig tree that Jesus cursed responded, the situations we face also have ears and we must speak to them. What mountains?
The mountain of debt, pain, discouragement, depression, sickness, disease, dysfunction, barrenness, etc. Whatever your mountain is...speak to it to be removed. God has ordained power in your tongue and we are co-laborers with Him in the work in which He has called us.
Ask Him to remove every hinderance - obstacle.
Isaiah 40:4 ESV Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain.
Speak [Prophecy] life into every area of your life.
Here's a little 'speak life' inspiration...https://youtu.be/ZeBv9r92VQ0
Ezekiel 37:3-6 (and following section)
Prophecy to the Dry Bones3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”’”
Step 3 - Ask for His Kingdom (Government) to Come and His will to be done.
Matt 6:10 ESV Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Continue to pray in the Holy Spirit - give every area of your life over to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to brood over every area. We are welcoming the Government of God in every area of our lives!

During this fast we are positioning ourselves for the LORD! .He wants us to step into purpose in a greater way in this season. Many of us are in situations that ONLY GOD can bring the deliverance, salvation and increase. This is a great place to be; it is HIS time to shine in and through you and your situation.
Day 2 is all about capturing vision for the breakthrough we are pressing towards. The busyness of life, difficult circumstances and situations can all cause us to lose focus on the bigger picture and the greatness of Almighty God. In Joel 2, the writer shares an instance where GOD's people recaptured the ability to dream and live from vision. God's children humbled themselves with fasting and prayer and the Lord ultimately poured out His spirit on the women and men. He caused the old men to dream dreams and young men to see visions.
Joel 2:28-29 NKJV
“And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
We need to remember, GOD has big things in store...a well know passage reveals GOD's heart and intentions for all of His people..
Jer 29:11 NKJV
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Let's spend day two engaging the LORD in capturing - or recapturing - HIS vision for your breakthrough. It is time for you to step into your promises. Let's prepare to cross our proverbial Jordan!
Finally, the principle of journaling and using the written word to keep our mind and heart focused is key to our journey.
Hab 2:2 NKJV
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
Take some time to recapture vision...write it down...this will help when temptation comes and your mind or the enemy tries to get you off track on your fast. It will also be the written record of the journey that will help in keeping the testimony of God's faithfulness as you step forward in Him.

I love you heaps!
What does breakthrough mean to you? Journal what you are trusting GOD for...
Remember, God blesses us to be a blessing..He died and paid in FULL for our lives and we can fully surrender because He is a good good Father! Here are some things on which to focus today in prayer as we allow the Lord to break up the fallow ground of our hearts.
Morning Prayer Call Summary
2 Chronicles 16:9a NASB
“For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.”
2 Chron 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Joel Chapter 2
Heb 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
1 John 1:8-10
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
We are are going after all GOD has for us in this season..may He give us the grace to contend and not give up. Remember the Parable of the Widow and the Unjust Judge. Let’s position ourselves in a place of total surrender.
2 Chronicles 16:9a For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
What does God showing Himself strong on your behalf look like to you? Is it overcoming a certain habit or addiction, is it supernatural healing, is it salvation of loved ones, is it a spouse you are believing Him to bring, is it a significant step into destiny? Begin to conceive this in your heart what your Good Good Father has for you...He wants to bless us so we can be a blessing…begin to believe again, dream again, extend faith again!
Choose a fast that stretches and challenges you…one way to strengthen our spirit man and free ourselves from the encumbrances of the soul and flesh is through fasting…
There are different types of fasts.:
Finally, the point of fasting is to position ourselves; it is not to twist GOD’s arm or to obtain brownie points…it is to position ourselves in a place of total devotion or surrender..expecting Him to show Himself strong on our behalf.

Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
