2 Chronicles 16:9a For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
What does God showing Himself strong on your behalf look like to you? Is it overcoming a certain habit or addiction, is it supernatural healing, is it salvation of loved ones, is it a spouse you are believing Him to bring, is it a significant step into destiny? Begin to conceive this in your heart what your Good Good Father has for you...He wants to bless us so we can be a blessing…begin to believe again, dream again, extend faith again!
Choose a fast that stretches and challenges you…one way to strengthen our spirit man and free ourselves from the encumbrances of the soul and flesh is through fasting…
There are different types of fasts.:
- Daniel fast - removing meats and veggies
- Sunrise to Sunset or 6am - 6pm - don’t eat or drink anything during these hours except water
- Juice fast - drinking only juices 24x7
- Water fast - drinking only water and nothing else 24x7
- Media fast - fasting all forms of media - even the social type
Finally, the point of fasting is to position ourselves; it is not to twist GOD’s arm or to obtain brownie points…it is to position ourselves in a place of total devotion or surrender..expecting Him to show Himself strong on our behalf.
